SmartWatermark
Built for real estate agents

Your listing photos expose your client's home.

Every iPhone photo embeds the exact GPS coordinates of where it was taken. Publish them on MLS, and anyone can find the property before it sells. SmartWatermark strips GPS and adds your brokerage watermark to hundreds of photos at once — entirely in your browser, never uploaded.

The problems with current tools

If you handle listing photos every week, you've hit at least one of these.

GPS coordinates expose your clients

iPhone and DSLR photos contain the exact GPS coordinates where they were taken. Publish them on MLS and anyone can find your client's home before it sells.

Your iPhone shots are getting rejected by the MLS

Your iPhone shoots HEIC by default. Most MLS portals reject HEIC files. Converting them with cloud tools means uploading hundreds of client photos to strangers.

You're spending Sunday nights uploading photos one batch at a time

Uploading 80 high-res photos, waiting for processing, downloading the ZIP — that's 20-30 minutes per listing. Multiply by 5 listings a week and it's a full day lost.

See it in action

Drop your iPhone photos. Apply your brokerage watermark. Strip GPS. Download the MLS-ready ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Why should I remove GPS coordinates from listing photos?+

iPhone and modern DSLRs embed exact GPS coordinates in every photo. When you publish those photos on MLS, social media, or your website, anyone can extract the coordinates and find the exact property. Removing GPS protects your clients' privacy and security — especially important for high-value properties or vacant homes.

Does it work with HEIC photos from my iPhone?+

Yes — HEIC and HEIF are supported natively. SmartWatermark converts them in the browser without uploading anywhere. You can drop HEIC files directly and export them as JPEG, PNG, or WebP — whichever format your MLS accepts.

Can I add my brokerage logo as a watermark?+

Yes. Upload your logo (PNG with transparency works best), position it anywhere on the photo, adjust size and opacity. Save it as a preset so you can apply the same watermark to all future listings with one click.

Is my data ever sent to your servers?+

Never. SmartWatermark runs 100% in your browser using Web Workers and the Canvas API. Your photos never touch our servers — there are no servers for image processing. Even if your internet drops mid-batch, the work continues. We can't see your photos, your watermark, or your clients' addresses.

Will the exported photos work with my MLS portal?+

Yes. Export as JPEG (most universally accepted), choose any resolution from original to 1080p, and the watermarked photos are ready to upload. EXIF copyright metadata is preserved if you want, GPS is removed if you choose. No proprietary formats — just standard files.

What does $29 one-time get me?+

Unlimited photos per batch, all Pro features (EXIF Shield, Smart Contrast, presets), no subscription, no expiration. Pay once, use forever. The free tier (20 images per batch) is enough to test the workflow before committing.
